Plain-language product analytics

Analytics & privacy

SellerPilot uses limited first-party product analytics to understand whether the beta works and where sellers get stuck.

What is collected

  • A random first-party visitor identifier
  • Coarse country code supplied by the hosting platform
  • Desktop, mobile or tablet and broad browser/OS family
  • Normalized page routes and selected product feature events
  • Batched active engagement duration while the page is visible and recently used

What is not collected

  • Raw IP addresses or precise location
  • Etsy buyer data, passwords or OAuth tokens
  • Cookies or authentication secrets as event properties
  • Seller cost values, financial form values or typed feedback
  • Keystrokes, session replay, screenshots or advertising identifiers

Product analytics is separated from essential operational and security telemetry. The architecture allows optional analytics collection to be disabled later if consent or regional requirements demand it. This page is a technical transparency note, not legal advice.
